Digital Editor, WaterAid – one year, fixed term contract

Want to be part of something truly amazing? Can you use your outstanding digital communications skills to help transform people’s lives around the world?

We are looking for a talented digital editor, journalist or content specialist to help us achieve our vision of a world where everyone, everywhere has access to safe water and sanitation.

You’ll be joining us on a one year, fixed term contract, and will take day-to-day responsibility for creating and commissioning compelling content for WaterAid’s UK website and digital channels. Full of great ideas, you’ll be able to bring a creative spark to our digital presence. You will work together with internal teams to understand, document and deliver against their digital content requirements.

This role is a fantastic mix of hands-on content creation, project and stakeholder management.

To be successful, you’ll need to have an established track record in digital communications, excellent copywriting and editorial skills, plus extensive experience of digital production. You will have a good understanding of social media, email, SEO, UX and GA, to name a few, along with an appreciation of the charity sector. Most importantly, you will have an infectious enthusiasm for digital content and the potential it can deliver for WaterAid.
