#b2bcopychat is heading to Twitter on Tuesday 2 February 2016, from 4-5pm GMT
How much does B2B spend on display ads? During 2014 the top 100 US B2B advertisers collectively spent $4.8 billion on media advertising, of which $1.5 billion was on magazine, newspaper and internet advertising.
Last year in the UK, between B2C and B2B, digital advertising spend increased 13.4% in the first half of 2015, to total £3.98 billion.
But what does this mean for those of us tasked with writing copy for all of this B2B advertising?
Follow #b2bcopychat on Twitter from 4-5pm on Tuesday 2 February, as we discuss topics like:
- what makes a brilliant B2B display ad
- how to write top-notch B2B ad copy
- working effectively with designers
- your favourite B2B ads – and your not-so-favourite ones.
During the hour of the chat, we’ll ask questions about your experiences and knowledge of display advertising. All participants will have an opportunity to respond and the best responses will be retweeted. If there’s time, we can all network and discuss copywriting in general.
