Brooke Brannon is a Pushcart-nominated American writer and editor who lives in England with her partner Paul. She spent 5 years as a journalist before moving to software, where she worked as a writer and editor for 20 years at Microsoft and Amazon. After that, she ran her own marketing communications agency for 5 years, where her clients included Amazon, Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, Concur, and SAP.

Now she offers copywriting and editing services to clients who need crisp American copy without all those bothersome U's. The hallmark of her work is a strong, clear voice that’s accessible and engaging.

Brooke also offers fiction editing to aspiring writers. She holds a Master of Fine Arts with Distinction from the Manchester Writing School, and her short stories can be found in Tales to Terrify, The Chamber, and The Disappointed Housewife. More work is forthcoming in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and Illustrated Worlds.
