In the beginning:

I’ve always been fascinated with human behaviour, especially why people do things and how actions can be positively influenced.

Working in the Travel Industry, this fascination helped me offer unique and personalised experiences - and won me awards for my customer service.

It also fuelled my journey to a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

But then…

After all of that Academic writing, I became frustrated with big words and jargon and developed a passion for easy-to-follow plain English.

While working for a major trade show in the Meetings & Events industry, I made it my mission to simplify the sales journey for exhibitors – my clients.  I worked with the marketing team to re-write manuals, web copy, presentations and email campaigns to help my clients get the best from their time exhibiting -  and they loved it. 

There began my passion for Copywriting.   

Now:

Today, I am a qualified, professional freelance copywriter and copy editor.  I write all sorts of web and social media content and printed materials. 

My clients are local to Brighton, East Sussex, as well as scattered throughout the UK and Europe.

I also love hiking in nature, gardening, Pilates, creative writing and cooking.  All of these keep me happy, healthy, creative and motivated.
