As an advertorial, content and copywriter, my work has appeared in titles including The Telegraph, LadBible, The Independent and various in-flight magazines including Wizz, N by Norwegian, easyJet Traveller, Oryx, bInspired and Atlas.

I've written copy on a range of topics, from the seemingly complex world of Bitcoin to a piece promoting the - at first glance – not so attractive sea cucumber (it's actually a delicacy), freshly caught off the wild coast of Norway.

Writing has given me some unusual experiences. I've interviewed a globally famous pop star, talked politics with the Maltese Minister of Tourism and interviewed a chef called Tony in a Surrey Travel Lodge. Of the three, Tony was my favourite. Why? He got to the point, and he didn't skirt around the topic.

As a writer, this is what I do. Whether it is a regional province on the continent, a new gadget or an upcoming Bitcoin platform, I'm renowned for the depth of my research, lively writing style and willingness to work with clients to deliver the message they want potential customers to read.

In addition to my experience as an in-flight magazine advertorial writer, I've worked with Braun, Sony, Instagram and Mitsubishi, crafting free flowing pieces which engage, entertain and, where possible, provide a laugh or two.

I've also worked with the RNLI on a marketing campaign for safety at sea, and written competitions for various film companies on productions such as Baby Driver and Kingsman 2.

Earlier this year, Brighter PR recommended me to The Telegraph, which was seeking a writer with expertise in travel on a collaboration between British Airways and the Estonian tourist board. As a result, I produced five branded content articles promoting the Baltic nation, its capital Tallinn, and its natural attractions.

Since 2016, my specialisms have been travel and health. My features writing has taken me to destinations including Australia, Borneo, the Faroe Islands, Portugal, Antigua, the Republic of Ireland and many more, leading to many interesting stories and cultural insights along the way. Admittedly, the Republic of Ireland has been something of a busman's holiday, but you learn something new every time.

Having worked as a teacher, builder, civil servant, gadget salesman (not for long), barman (for long) and porter, I bring a wealth of experience, a few good stories and a lot of character to my writing, which I look forward to sharing with you.
