DESCRIPTION:1 DAY CONTENT DESIGN COURSE\nDuring the morning we look at the design element of content design\, in the afternoon we write content and use team activities to review it. \nThe course encourages participants to think differently about content and look into all the content-related elements that help create a good user experience. \nParticipants will need their laptop and a topic they want to work on during the day. \nMORNING – YOUR CONTENT BUILDING BLOCKS\nYour audience: \n\nfinding the right language\nexploring your users’ mental models\n\nYour content: \n\nunderstanding user journeys\nunderstanding and identifying user needs and acceptance criteria\n\nAFTERNOON – WRITING AND REVIEWING CONTENT\nHow people read: \n\nreading psychology\njargon\ncognitive load\n\nWriting and reviewing your content: \n\nwe write content (attendants choose a topic before)\npair writing exercises: headings\, amount of text\, action focus\n\nContent crit: \n\ntime boxed crit\nlooking at some content the group produced\nlooking at structure and how user needs are covered\n\nTraining includes:\n\nInteractive training with practical exercises\nQ&As with trainer\nRecording of the session\nSupporting documentation\n\nThe training days are approximately 10 to 4 with plenty of breaks between practical exercises and discussions. \nYour training ticket includes access to our online event platform\, as well as opportunities to network with other delegates and join any of our Satellite Sessions.
