Hi, I’m Tilly, a copywriter who specialises in writing case studies for women in digital, consultants, mentors and agency owners. Case studies tell a story of what it's like to work with you and how you get results for your clients. They can generate leads, sell your service and split into multiple types of content to use across your marketing. In addition to my signature case studies, I write web copy, biographies and lead gen messaging. Kind words from clients: “Tilly is more than an excellent copywriter, she's a true wordsmith who delves deep into the heart of a story and retells it with her own unique and very beautiful style.” "Tilly captured our tone of voice and what we accomplished with our client perfectly.” “Tilly has been amazing at taking all my rambling ideas and converting them into beautiful, concise, yet emotive sections of text which explain to everyone the very essence of my business.” "Tilly's case study service was a genuine revelation. She was able to hone in on the essence of our relationship with our client and gave us a fresh and positive perspective on our work." Follow @moorheartcopy www.moorheartcopy.com

I use words to prompt action from your customers. My favourite copy is short, sweet and sometimes sweary. I'll boil your message down to its core essence. Like a chef reducing down a jus. Then I'll add in some personality. Like the class joker farting in assembly. I do... 🔹️ ad straplines 🔹 posters 🔹 billboards 🔹 ads projected onto the moon 🔹️ hero copy 🔹 villain copy 🔹️ naming projects 🔹️ core messaging, values 🔹️ ad scripts 🔹️ landing pages 🔹️ socials 🔹 anti-socials A bit about me... I have a beautiful clickedy-clackedy keyboard. I'm not saying it gives me the edge over other copywriters but I'm also not *not* saying that. I have two daughters (who I love more than the keyboard - this list is in no particular order). I believe gherkins/pickles go with any savoury dish. Prove me wrong. For a decade I represented Great Britain in a sport you've probably never heard of. I'm patient, a good team player; completed Grand Theft Auto 5 with my husband without getting divorced. Hello there, I'm a copywriter based in Croatia. I have a translator's background, majoring in English and German. My mother tongue is Hungarian. As a translator, I have come across many types of texts, and analyzing them and translating them into English or German made me realize that copywriting is another branch that I can be good at, which I am, mainly because: I know how to convey the message the writer of the text wants to convey, but in another language. I know how to adapt and localize the text to fit the target audience. I know how to craft a copy (web pages, brochures...) to persuade clients to buy, incorporating stories, writing in a TOV that befits the particular field of business. Having affinities toward writing poetry is also something that adds extra interest and an element of "oddity"to my copy, should such a copy need to be written. So, I started out as a translator, but am a copywriter, who has a dab hand in writing appealing copy in more than 1 language. IN 2023- I'm now a website copywriter, adding SEO to my forte. On-page SEO. I write copy in English and CRoatian, and translate from German and HUngarian.

When you don’t have the writing capacity, confidence or skills you need in your team, I’m here to help. You can work with me in two ways. You can outsource your writing to me, or you can hire me to boost your in-house writing skills. My clients include marketing agencies, SMEs, and national and multinational businesses. Perhaps the biggest testament to my qualities is that I have been working with several of them since I started my business in 2012. I believe they choose to stay with me for four reasons. I’m pragmatic: I’ll always be able to back up anything I’ve recommended or written with best practice knowledge and sound thinking. That said, you’re the customer and you know your business. I’m not diva-ish or precious. I’m proactive: you’re engaging me to write copy but I’ll always go the extra mile to work with you and your team to add value and offer suggestions, ideas and feedback where it’s appropriate. I’m practical: I’ll call when I say I will; I’ll deliver when I say I will. My job is to help you and your business, so you can rely on me to be reliable. I’m professional: if I need to talk to a customer or supplier of yours, you can put me in touch with them without fear. I work hard to make a good impression and reflect well on you and your business. If you'd like to have a conversation about how I could help you, get in touch - I'll look forward to hearing from you.

I set up Town Mouse Country Mouse (TMCM) in 2010 with one goal in mind – use my copywriting expertise to create the very best work, wherever that may be. Working remotely from the TMCM office in Dorset, I provide a voice to both international brands and local independent businesses. I’m happiest with pens and post-its, keyboards and coffee mugs, writing clear and simple words that really make a difference to all my clients’ businesses. This win-win way of writing is really paying off. My clients appreciate my smart ideas, and carefully crafted writing. And I’ve never enjoyed working more. So whether you’re producing a new brochure, updating your website, require a tone of voice or need help with blog posts and tweets, I can help on one-off projects or provide a monthly input. The freelance copywriter who writes the words that work wonders. I'm going to level with you. I don't like writing about myself (which is ironic, given that I'm a copywriter). Sure, I could've filled this page with some generic drivel about how great I am. But who wants to read that contrived nonsense anyway? Let's talk about you. You've got a business to run. Clients to win. Products to push. Services to sell. Campaigns to conquer. Brands to build. You need the right words to make things happen. Words that excite. Engage. Inform. Persuade. Words that dance off the page and waltz into the minds of your audience. Words that make them stop, think, and act. The right words work wonders – the wrong words don't work at all. That's why I obsess over them as if my life depends on it. From long-form to short-form, every word counts. Every word has its place. Every. Single. One. So if you're lost for words, let me find them for you. Portfolio: https://jdn.media Email: jamie@jdn.media

“I’ve always enjoyed writing but I didn’t set up on my own account until 2019. At that point I had been teaching for nearly two decades and had become frustrated with the academy trust to which my then school belonged. I took a plunge and set up as a freelance writer.”

Jo Watson

“I wish we were all more honest when speaking to newer or younger copywriters and telling them what to expect in their career. It’s a hard job, it’s constantly evolving, and it’s still nowhere near as widely respected (as both an art and a science) as it should be.”

Abby King

“Let your work breathe. While it’s tempting to send over to the client once a piece is ready, I try to give it at least 24 hours (where time allows!) before I go back in, review and send.”

Sophie Lain

“My manager at graze told me to think about every meeting as money, so an hour’s meeting with five people is five hours of company money. Is it worth it?”
