What the team gets from it

Most writers are already using AI tools, often without any shared method. This course replaces trial and error with a process that can be repeated and checked.

  • Quicker first drafts on routine work. Headlines, emails, product descriptions and social posts, using prompts built around our own briefs.
  • Copy that doesn’t read as AI. A tested editing process for removing generic phrasing and putting brand voice back in.
  • Better judgement about when not to use it. Where AI saves time, and where a writer should stay hands-on.
  • A workflow that fits how we already work, rather than a new set of tools to learn.

What comes back to the team afterwards

  • A working prompt library — Reusable prompts for your own briefs and tone of voice.
  • An editing checklist — A repeatable process for turning AI drafts into finished copy.
  • 8 CPD hours — Logged straight to your ProCopywriters CPD record.
  • The full recording — A video of the day to keep and rewatch, sent after the course.
  • A certificate of completion — For your portfolio or line manager.

Managing the risks of AI use

The course covers the questions that tend to land on a manager’s desk: when AI use should be disclosed to clients or readers, where copyright and confidentiality issues arise, and how to talk to stakeholders about it. Attendees leave with a clearer, safer way of working, not just a faster one.

The content maps to the AI competencies in the Copywriter Code’s Competency Framework: prompt management, software skills, humanising content and AI ethics.
