A 333-page book of inspirational and pragmatic ideas from 56 contributors, including our own story and my narrative to tie the whole book together. It demonstrates the catastrophic consequences of a rigid, over-stretched education system on children and their families, but also demonstrates to educators and other professionals that there is another way. The recurring theme is one of compassion, a child-centred ethos and a trauma-informed approach.
