I'm a freelance copywriter, strategic brand writer and creative director. I work with clients to find the right words and ideas to express their brand strategy and make their brands sing. 

I can help your brand communicate in the most powerful, appropriate and engaging way possible. Whether that's finding the right tone of voice (or fixing what you’ve got), persuasive copywriting or big ideas that work across multiple media, I make every word count.

I'm a good listener and quick to understand your business, brand and tone of voice issues. I take that understanding and find ways to help you tell persuasive, memorable stories about your brand.

COPYWRITING & BRAND WRITING – everything I do is focused on words. Over the years, I've written millions of words for hundreds of brands. I'm a digital native who understands how to communicate in any medium – from brief to concept and execution.

TONE OF VOICE & VERBAL IDENTITY – creating and fixing tone of voice and building verbal identities for brands is at the heart of what I do. I worked as Head of Verbal Identity at a brand consultancy for four years and I'm skilled in finding and executing the perfect tone for all kinds of brands.

I've been lucky enough to work with everyone from bootstrapping start-ups to international behemoths and every sort of client in between. It's quite likely I'll have worked with a brand that faces similar challenges to yours.

Over 30 industry awards including Campaign, Cannes Lions, in-book at D&AD, DMA, Caples, ISP and MCCA.
I was invited to speak at Cannes Direct to an audience of 500 people.

Instigated and ran the DMA's 'Sharpen Up' copywriting workshop for 10 years. I've also run creative workshops for D&AD, as well as writing and brand workshops for clients.
