My skillset and experience are varied - covering copywriting, journalism, marketing, research and PR - but always centred around communication and creating a connection.

I have experience of creating brand strategies, writing tone of voice documents, crafting web copy, overseeing social media content, producing sales funnel emails, social media content, writing brochures and reports, creating blogs, and writing product descriptions. I’ve been working in marketing for over thirteen years, and have been a full time freelance communications consultant for the last four. Mainly I focus on writing, because that's what I'm really good at, but I also deliver strategies and implement campaigns. I'm an NCTJ trained journalist, so know how to tell a good story that engages the reader. I'm familiar with analytics and SEO and know how to use them in the full marketing mix. I have a background in research and insight so put planning and measurement at the centre of communications strategies, optimising for success.
