I've got 20 years' experience in marketing, communications and copywriting for brands including the NHS, Aviva and The British Museum as well as some of the world's biggest technology and engineering businesses such as Jacobs, Mott MacDonald, Tunstall and Sumec.

Qualifications & Accreditations
I hold the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, have been a Chartered Marketer for the last decade, and am an elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, sitting on their Hull & Humber Region Board. I'm also AET qualified in teaching and training and (more years ago than I'd like to admit) I studied English Language and Sociology, which still comes in handy!

Internal communications, web content, brochures, print ads, direct mail campaigns, radio ad scripts, promotional and explainer video scripts, catalogues, bottle labels, tender submissions, award entries, annual reports, venture capitalist pitch decks, exhibition materials, microsites, email campaigns, newsletters... at some point in my career, I've written it, got results from it and added it to my experience.

I run all my writing work (freelance, retained, contract and my own) through my business Larry & Harry Ltd which is VAT registered. The business is appropriately insured and is registered with the ICO for compliance related to data storage, handling and processing.

I'm based in East Yorkshire and work on-site as needed, though usually remotely. Most of my clients are in West Yorkshire, but I have one or two elsewhere in the country and have never had a problem remote working. Zoom works a treat for meetings too.

I have a trusted team of experienced and talented associate copywriting partners. Through them, I can deliver a broader range of skills to my clients when needed. And, regardless of my health, holiday or presence at a school play status, they help me keep you happy with continuous availability. Just like you, I have a life outside work, but I never miss a client deadline. Ever.
