Advanced HR blog (high-ranking for SEO)
The blog ranked so highly on SERPs that it was cited by a competitor (another of our clients at the time) as the example to follow when briefing us to write new content for its own SEO blog campaign in this sector.
Advanced wanted a creative approach to a tired topic while including its brand and product messaging among SEO keywords and phrases. So I had some fun with this one, starting with what journalists call a ‘drop intro’ to set the scene from 1999, then jumping forward to the present.

I wrote this HR/SEO blog after an interview with a subject matter expert. To create the white paper about the state of recruitment in 2000 (see attached PDF), I interviewed one of Advanced’s clients, and then ghost-wrote it for him. Both assets were a joy to create.
