My writing has been solving creative problems and aiding communication since I was a child. I fondly remember my first commissions: small coins from my sisters for composing their post-birthday letters of thanks. Even then, I was thinking about the reading audience – what to share, how to keep their interest and how to leave them impressed by my client.

A degree in journalism, and two decades embedded within London-based marketing, creative and digital teams have been the ideal backdrop to my freelance career. Now in my eighth year as a full-time freelancer, what's helpful for you to know is I have experience of a broad sweep of sectors including B2B, healthcare, luxury retail, education, consumer goods and change communications. My time in digital teams has also developed my robust SEO, functionality and usability understanding.
