Columnist on the Daily Express. I have written for newspapers and magazines across the national press, including The Times, the Sunday Times, the Daily Telegraph, The Spectator, the Daily Mail, the Mail on Sunday and the Evening Standard. I am the core UK correspondent for the Dubai-based arts magazine Canvas and am editor-at-large of its sister magazine Sorbet, as well as contributing to How To Spend It. I have also written two novels.
I have been a contributor/editor of a book about the contemporary Saudi Arabian art scene and have a similar project on UAE art which is about to come out.
I have written numerous biographies and have ghostwritten a number of books, including autobiographies, the history of a business and a medical book. I have also written an investment guide.
I was the editor on a freelance basis of Investing for Growth from 2011 to 2013 and Professional Investor, from 2005 to 2007.
