I'm a self-confessed words maven and have been working in marketing, freelance writing and communications for over 17 years now. My writing style for editorial is conversational, engaging and intelligent while my copywriting will always show a distinctive attention to brand identity. My obsession is tone of voice, style and adapting that for SEO and social media platforms.

I have extensive experience across B2B & B2C environments, working in copywriting, marketing and stakeholder communications. From website copy, SEO & CRM content through to long-form reports, thought leadership content and blogs, brand tone of voice curating, and producing engaging copy for a range of formats across multiple delivery channels.

One of my strengths is my diversity of experience, having started in the fashion industry trade sector and migrating to FinTech, Financial Services, Digital Transformation and start-ups. I am confident in most sectors and keen to adapt to new voices.

Having been immersed in the fashion and retail sector for many years, before expanding to more technical and finance-related areas, much of my work has involved a great deal of insight into the business of luxury and sustainable sector and that market. Since 2018, I have been involved in writing content for PR agencies and freelance, covering Financial Services, FinTech, Digital Transformation and a wider range of B2B content.

I have experience reporting for fashion platforms such as Pure London, Drapers and Fashion Revolution as well as the Huff Post UK. I've worked with fashion groups and brands (mostly independent or start-ups but also a B2B distribution agency for a few years) for over 17 years delivering content, editing interviews and producing online or print content, including social media and blogs. I've also written or ghost-written for both consumer press and trade press, including thought leadership content for a range of platforms and channels across sectors.

I am adaptable to any sector - from fashion through to finance and business - and have supported first-time authors as well as heavyweight global reports.

I have a CAM diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and am a member of the NUJ.
