Stericycle sustainable waste management case study (and other interview-based copy)
With most of its clients in the NHS, Stericycle used this case study to expand into a new sector (laboratory waste). This interview-based piece marked a new approach to content marketing for this innovative clinical waste management business. The asset set a new industry standard in the process — and won repeated business for the agency managing the account.

Adapting to a complex sector
As the first asset I wrote for this end client — and my first piece for this new agency partner — my challenges included navigating an intensely complex sector, understanding the client’s messaging, and adapting to a fluid content strategy. To overcome all this, I worked with both teams to:
- Help clarify the brief and conduct desk research
- Craft unique questions and send them ahead of the interview
- Brief Stericycle’s account manager on the process
- Interview the end client’s waste manager
A stream of high-value content
This high-impact piece was followed by more case studies (and monthly LinkedIn posts), as well as blogs based on interviews with staff and my attendance at sustainability events. (I even did some off-camera interviewing for short films.)

Supporting your agency growth
As a senior freelance resource, I help agencies solve their content creation problems. In this case, I helped an agency expand its copywriting services to support its ambitious growth.
