Hi there! Thanks for stopping by - my name is Emily Haddington and I'm a senior copywriter and UX writer with more than a decade of experience writing for small to medium companies, start-ups and household names.

Some of my clients have included HSBC, JP Morgan, Vodafone, P&G, TUI, Aquafresh, Taylor Wimpey, Microsoft, Google and Expedia. Sure, I'm a generalist - but to my mind, a good copywriter should be able to write about literally anything.

I'm the co-founder of Haddington & Haddington, a Suffolk-based agency offering copywriting and UX writing services alongside AI copy rewrites and humanisation. I run the agency with my husband, David Haddington - an extremely talented web, digital, print and UX/UI designer. (He does a bloomin' good illustration, too).

Copywriting
I have a wealth of writing experience across a huge variety of sectors. Whether it's creating product descriptions for a small online start-up selling caravan upholstery, or UX copy for mortgage products for household names like HSBC, I can help with any project. UX Writing
Many copywriters say they're UX writers, but they don't have any UX background or design reputation to back it up. UX writing involves more than being able to write micro-copy for a button, or knowing your way around a wireframe. My agency is fully accredited by qualifications from the UX Design Institute, and we perform user testing and UX research alongside content design. I know the UX design process inside out - from user surveys and competitive benchmarking at the start, through to user flow analysis, affinity diagrams and customer journey mapping, and then user flows, wireframing and prototyping. I've been involved in UX writing projects for large brands such as JP Morgan/Chase, Vodafone and HSBC.
