Visa – Copywriter, Ecosystem Publishing, SEO, GEO & AI Discoverability

What I Did…

Third-party editorial content
I wrote long-form articles for Forbes and the Financial Times, focused on payments, fraud, and digital commerce. Each piece was designed to live comfortably as editorial, not brand copy, meeting strict publishing, compliance, and fact-checking standards.

Discoverability-led structuring
I shaped every article around how people search and how AI-led systems surface information. That meant framing topics around real questions, structuring explanations clearly, and making sure key concepts could be understood by both human readers and modern search models.

Complex topic translation
I broke down dense payments and fraud concepts into clear, readable explanations without stripping out the nuance. The focus was always on helping non-specialists understand how things work and why they matter, while keeping the content credible for industry experts.

Wikipedia content recommendations
I reviewed relevant Wikipedia pages and produced structured recommendations to address gaps around Visa’s value-added services. The work focused on neutrality, sourcing, and accuracy, so Visa’s role was represented clearly in one of the web’s most influential reference layers.

Editorial collaboration and alignment
I worked closely with marketing, PR, and subject matter experts to balance Visa’s business context with the expectations of independent platforms. This ensured the content stayed useful, accurate, and publishable in environments Visa doesn’t control.
