SEO website copywriting: Coach, Therapist and Author Jemima Blazdell
Jemima was delighted that her new website copy provided more clarity for her clients and better represented her refined brand and business offer.
Especially that it’s now more searchable (showing well in search engine results), with improved readability and accessibility:
Using my experience as an SEO copywriter alongside my skills as a wellbeing copywriter, I created an SEO strategy and followed this process to maintain maximum clarity and focus for a searchable, polished website:
- SEO keyword research — in-depth research and analysis using a range of techniques and tools to produce a list of keywords/phrases used by Jemima’s ideal clients to search online for businesses like hers
- Copywriting consultation — a one-to-one online consultation to work out where and how to improve Jemima’s web copy with actionable advice and solutions
- Compiling all old content — sorting the wheat from the chaff to see if there was any content we could reuse and spruce up from Jemima’s original website
- Creating the first draft — using all the info gathered in the first three stages, I carefully crafted wellbeing copy that communicated Jemima’s offer directly to her ideal clients, by way of search engines
- Copywriting consultation — a one-to-one online consultation to go through the suggested changes together and help implement them
- Refining the first draft — once we’d gone through the suggested changes for the first draft, I refined the copy to create the second draft
- Proofreading — making sure all content was free from errors and omissions, ready for Jemima to input and publish online
- Digital marketing consultation — advising on digital marketing services to complement Jemima’s website, specifically writing blog posts to boost her SEO while bolstering her experience, authority and trust credentials
- SEO blog writing training — providing Jemima with training on how to write and format blog posts, considering tried and tested SEO techniques
“I love the simplicity of the colour scheme and amount of space; it makes it feel spacious and good for my neurodivergent brain. I also love the copy. It’s clear with a lot of heart, and specific enough to help me see who you’re talking to. I especially love the testimonials and the fact that you have titles above. That’s something unique I don’t see often but really makes them powerful.” — Feedback from Jemima’s website relaunch.
