Website copy

Website messaging and copy: Tyne Powered

Tyne Powered aims to raise the profile of the River Tyne as a great place for people to build a business. I wrote web and brochure copy targeting potential investors in the offshore and renewable energy sectors. We needed the Tyne Powered website to be different from its competitors, so the copy combines personality and points of difference with the hard facts that investors need. The result was a cohesive campaign used at multiple industry events, adopted by businesses across the sector, and resulting in 100% positive engagement from the target audience on LinkedIn.

Website messaging and copy: The Comfrey Project

The Comfrey Project is a place where refugees and people seeking asylum can learn new skills, share what they know with others, and start to build a better life. I wrote all the copy for the charity's new website. The copy needed to get across key information about The Comfrey Project to its supporters, funders and community. It had to communicate in a way which fitted with the charity’s work and values. The result is a new website which tells people about the charity, its history and its work in an inspiring, person-centred way.

The Prince’s Countryside Fund

The Royal Countryside Fund (formerly The Prince’s Countryside Fund) supports rural businesses and communities. They wanted to produce a guide for farmers, explaining terms like ‘net zero, ‘agroecology’ and ‘biodynamic’. I worked with an ecologist to write an easy-to-use glossary, which was launched at the Great Yorkshire Show by HRH The Prince of Wales.
