I've been a writer, editor and proofreader for over 20 years, specialising in writing for the web. I've been producing digital content since the 90s, so I know how people use the web and how organisations can benefit from understanding the "user journey". I particularly enjoy "translating" complex or technical information into layman's terms - I love writing instructions!
As a freelancer, I have written or edited content for The Children's Society, the European Commission, the Citizenship Foundation and Birmingham City Council, as well as many smaller organisations and individuals, especially in the areas of health and wellbeing, and social care.
Before freelancing I spent four years as Content Editor for National Express, followed by five years with Maverick Television as Senior Writer for Channel 4's 4Homes website.
