Pro+ is our new top tier, built around a commitment to the Copywriter Code. As an existing Pro member, your upgrade is completely free – your subscription will stay the same. Pro+ members must have at least 2 years of professional experience, and agree to adhere to the Code.
What Pro+ is
Pro+ is Pro membership plus a professional commitment. Everything you have now carries over: your directory listing, your profile, your member benefits. On top of that, Pro+ members get the benefit of a public commitment to a defined standard of professionalism.
That standard is a public commitment gives reassurance to clients and collaborators and helps you stand out in a crowded field. No other route to hiring a UK copywriter offers that assurance, and it’s the reason Pro+ exists.
Why the upgrade is free
New members will pay £19.99/month for Pro+ membership and the benefits of the Code. We’re offering you a free upgrade as thanks for helping to build the organisation and the development of these standards.
What you’re signing
Two documents, both short, both written in plain English:
How members treat clients, colleagues, and collaborators. Behaviour, conduct and judgement.
How you complete projects and engage with clients. Processes, systems and working practices.
Plus:
- A commitment to 20 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) each year, with at least 5 hours of structured learning.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a copywriter

Formal member accreditation is on our roadmap, and when it arrives, founding Pro+ members will have an experience-based route into it rather than joining the queue.
