What’s it like to be a copywriter in 2026?
For the tenth time, we’re asking all sorts of copywriters all sorts of questions.
The survey is a snapshot of the life and work of commercial writers, investigating:
- Incomes and day rates
- Training and backgrounds
- AI use and experiences
- Skills and services
This is a completely anonymous and fully comprehensive copywriter survey, which takes about 20 minutes to complete. The questionnaire is open throughout March, and the full report will be available to download, for free, in July.

- Working in or serving the UK market
