The ProCopywriters Mentoring scheme is now live, and all members are invited to take part.
The structure
The suggested offer is 3 mentoring sessions, across 3 months. 45-60 minute calls, all conducted remotely.
Mentoring sessions are intended to give mentees the benefit of perspective and experience, honest feedback and useful questions. It’s not about offering free consultancy, business coaching, or referrals.
And for everyone involved, mentoring counts as continuing professional development (CPD).
For mentors
Mentoring is a generous gift to your copywriting community. It’s a chance to pass on the things you’ve picked up along the way and to reflect on your own progression. It’s also a great way to connect with other copywriters in your community.
For mentees
Mentoring is a chance to chat to someone who’s already been through it. Whether you’re struggling with elements of the craft and creativity, or professional aspects like client relationships or job hunting, mentoring gives you a direct line to someone who’s already solved those problems.
When and how
Applications for mentoring (offering and receiving) are open now and the window closes on the first cohort on 31st October 2026. We’re aiming for 2-3 mentoring cohorts per year, depending on demand and the availability of mentors. You can apply for both roles at the same time.
