CopyCon Goes International in November

CopyCon returns this November – for a very special event with something we’ve never tried before…

Join us online on the 5-6th November for an event that blends practical learning, inspiring speakers, engineered networking and live competition.

International scheduling in 3 blocks

By spreading the conference across two days we can make it easier for international attendees to catch-up and still feel involved in the ongoing event. Perfect too for copywriters juggling active projects, children, or pets.

Longer workshops (70 minutes)

Your feedback was clear: workshops need more time. We’ve added 15 minutes to each session, allowing space for breakout exercises and the opportunity to get hands-on with real writing challenges.

Brilliant speakers

Workshops are sandwiched between keynotes from tried-and-tested speakers, so we all get to regroup and get inspired as a collective.

Pitch It Live

It’s kind of like a copywriting version of Bake Off (or Ready, Steady, Cook); a live copywriting competition anyone can enter, and anyone can win. Contestants are judged on their work, not their reputation. Each team works on the same brief, with the same resources. The winner receives the first Lumen award.

Members’ saving

We’ve cut the price for Pro and Corporate members from £79 to £69 – incredible value for a conference that features 6 workshops, 5 keynotes, multiple networking rooms, and our first live copywriting competition. And of course, attendees get all session recordings to replay for 90 days. Remember to grab the access code from your ProCopywriters dashboard (you must use that to unlock the hidden tickets).

What about live events?

Online events are brilliant in so many ways (affordability, flexibility, environmental-friendliness, convenience etc etc), but they can’t quite replace the magic of getting together in the real world. The difficulty we’ve faced is that running IRL events is super expensive, which means the tickets are super expensive, which means fewer people can attend our events. As a community organisation that exists to support copywriters, our first goal is always to reach as many people as possible. Right now, that means being online.

The search for affordable venues continues…
