I’m a freelance copywriter with 15 years’ experience as a professional writer.
I’ve written websites, advertisements, brochures and sales emails for a range of organisations. These include businesses, colleges, charities and global membership groups.
I’m also a trained journalist, having spent ten years writing and editing for a regional newspaper, including five as sports editor.
This means I have a proven record of writing clear and effective copy that achieves its purpose.
I love using words to influence opinions and persuade people to act. Whether that’s to make a sale, attract prospects or get people to donate.
I can’t stand jargon or self-important language. It’s difficult to understand and a real turn-off for readers – your potential clients. And if they don’t read it, they can’t find out what's in it for them.
