How Communication Coach Nicky Curran’s LinkedIn posts increased her monthly engagement by 40%

LinkedIn post example:
Have you ever wondered why some “pitchers” seem to captivate their audience effortlessly?

It all boils down to their nonverbal signals, which can be categorised into two sets.

Here’s the catch.

Many of us perceive confidence and warmth as mutually exclusive traits.

We often assume that warm individuals lack intelligence or skill, while those projecting authority can come across as arrogant and less likeable.

Finding the delicate balance between these two sets of nonverbal signals is a challenge.

The first set of signals revolves around status, authority, and confidence.

To convey these qualities, individuals:
✅ stand tall
✅ hold their shoulders back
✅ maintain direct eye contact
✅ speak clearly in a lower vocal range
✅ and keep their head straight.

These nonverbal cues establish a strong presence and command attention.

The second set of signals, which revolves around warmth, empathy, and likability, is equally important.
✅ Displaying open-palm gestures
✅ Leaning slightly forward
✅ Giving attentive eye contact when others speak
✅ Offering a genuine smile
✅ Mirroring their posture and gestures.

These cues enhance your likability and foster positive relationships.

Finding the sweet spot between projecting confidence and demonstrating warmth can make all the difference when pitching.

How software company Veriom increased their LinkedIn followers by 400%

LinkedIn post sample:
This simple formula will make your work easier 💡!

Uncertainties overshadow the development of any innovative software product.

That’s where software risk assessment comes in. But how can you make it better? This simple formula will make it easier for you.

Estimating risk exposure helps determine the severity of risks your software project faces. To do that, we need two values.

Size of potential loss in time
The probability that a corresponding risk will occur.

The following formula helps to estimate risk severity.

Risk exposure = probability of such a risk occurrence in percentage x the impact of loss in time.

Let’s say there is a 60% chance of a client insisting on a product feature that will impact product delivery.

If we estimate the impact as a delay of 5 weeks, we can measure risk exposure as 0.60×5 = 3 weeks.

Did you know this formula? Or are you using a different one?
