59% of copywriters use generative AI tools in their work, and ChatGPT is the clear favourite. 19% say AI-produced copy appears in the finished work.

Freelance men and women now earn almost exactly the same. Across all copywriters the gap widened to 19%, driven by in-house, agency and founder roles.
