CopyCon postponed until October

Here’s the short version:

The Copywriting Conference is postponed until 8 October 2021, due to a lack of interest.

If you already booked, you can have a full refund, or we’ll automatically move your ticket to the new date.

Email events@procopywriters.co.uk if you would like a refund

Here’s the longer version:

Few people can think about training and development right now.

Since we launched the Copywriting Conference at the end of November, we’ve only sold a handful of tickets.

We could try to hold on and hope that sales pick up dramatically, but this creates risks for everyone involved, including attendees, speakers, suppliers – and the ProCopywriters organisation.

Right now, because we’ve only sold a few tickets, it’s relatively easy to change our plans. Yes, it’s immensely frustrating to postpone, and disappointing for anyone who has already booked – but this would only be magnified if we postpone closer to the event, with more people booked.

By postponing now we have been able to secure 99% of our speakers (just waiting on 1 more to confirm).

We haven’t taken this decision lightly, and were fully prepared to push on, but the news suggests that lockdown is set to continue for a while longer – and lockdown seems to have a direct correlation to levels of interest in our events (quite understandably).

I hope this change doesn’t inconvenience you too much – and I hope you can join us in October for the biggest Copywriting Conference yet.
