My love of words led me to write from an early age. At the age of 10, I was writing silly stories and rhyming poetry, so it seemed natural that my career would be within the creative industry. When I left college I joined the world of advertising and marketing where I worked with some amazing national companies in magazines, newspapers and radio. Constantly learning my craft on the job, my appetite to learn more and be the best I could be, drove me to achieving several diplomas in copywriting, content marketing, blogging, search engine optimisation (SEO) writing, social media and digital marketing. Over the years I’ve written an array of different projects including SEO writing for websites, radio/TV/video scripts, blogs, press releases, magazine/newspaper articles, social media posts, internal company documents, online and offline advertisements, etc. Goodwrite.ink, my own business, has been established for over 12 years where I have helped many businesses build their brand, be seen and heard, be visible online and create loyal customer relationships. I found my way to my first official copywriting gig in the middle of pandemic lockdown, thanks to a mouse who chewed a hole in a water pipe above my neighbour’s kitchen ceiling – but that’s a story I reserve for our first creative review.
