I'm a freelance senior copywriter, one hour from central London, working with marketers and advertising agencies around the world. I create sales copy, web content and campaigns. During two plus decades at top London agencies I've written for healthcare, travel, automotive and much more. With results like 2.7m Facebook story impressions in under three weeks for Tourism Ireland. I’ve delivered over 1000 projects in 17 markets, reaching audiences of 5m plus. I rewrote a website for breast cancer patients, increasing traffic by 38%. The new site won a ‘best practice’ award and became the client's benchmark for online patient support. From this project I learned how design, UX, and copywriting can seamlessly support each other. Prior to healthcare I honed my skills in B2C and B2B, for clients as diverse as Rolex and General Electric. I cut my teeth in traditional media, but have a passion for digital - having written extensively for social media and content marketing. This career experience gives me a deeper understanding of how to truly connect communications across channels. For example, I wrote a set of case studies for the UK’s largest property management company. Working with a team of five including another copywriter, a designer and the marketing manager we developed a Direct Mail and AdWords campaign. This led to a 23% increase in company site traffic, 1000+ case studies downloaded and a 14% increase in new business enquiries over 6 months. In my spare time I love renovating classic cars and motorbikes. The attention to detail, problem solving and concentration this demands helps to bring laser-like focus to my copywriting!
