  • I am a one-stop shop for your content needs - a friendly, skilled writer and editor with 30 years' experience in publishing, working across the business and consumer sectors. I hold a BA (hons) degree in English and art from the University of Surrey and have built my career in newspapers, magazines and online channels. My business specialisms encompass everything from international security to healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. In my spare (?) time I am a stained glass artist (and I've had articles published on this topic too) - but that is another story! Let me help you write your story - from an advert to an article, a Tweet to a thesis or a website to a white paper. I also write blogs for companies' websites, building engagement, trust and brand awareness that build reputation and lead to sales. I specialise in cleverly-crafted, creative content - no flannel, flummox or fluff.

  • Freelance copywriter, comedy writer, typo spotter, social media butterfly, short woman. Hi, I'm Kady. I've been a copywriter since 2010, and have a mix of experience working for both agencies and brands. Right now, I work in-house in Osaka, Japan, freelancing on the side. I mainly write product descriptions, blogs, company websites and social media posts. I'm also a mid-level Japanese speaker (JLPT level N2, self-taught). My spare time is something I look back on with fond memories. I've written regularly for Funny Women, and for my own steadily-growing Twitter account and blog. There's also 1 last level of the JLPT to pass before I can claim to be fluent, so I've got my work cut out.

  • I provide content. I also provide marketing services. I understand copy and how it works as a direct marketing technique, how it should work as a marketing tool. And I work across all channels because what works offline (in print – customer magazines, brochures, newsletter, and training pack) will work online too (website, blogs, e-newsletter and social media). I'm also a trained journalist, copy editor and proofreader and I have a background in marketing. Before founding Words Are Everywhere I spent two decades in marketing at KPMG, Deloitte, Baker Tilly, Nabarro Nathanson, Norton Rose, Ove Arup and NHS Health Scotland; corporate communications at Scottish Widows; publishing at NHS Health Scotland and freelancing as a journalist. I work across a wide variety of projects for big brands and small start ups, public sector bodies and individuals including fully integrated campaigns on behalf of the Scottish Government. For many of my clients words do the selling - whether it's a product, a service or a change in behaviour such as cutting down on drinking. Which is why you need a copywriter with a marketing pedigree. That's me.

  • Before I tell you about me, here's what someone else has to say... "If you need a competent and creative writer, Jenny is your person. It sounds obvious I know, but actually finding someone who does exactly what you’ve asked them to do well, is really hard! I approached Jenny for help bringing to life a new brand through website content. She listened to my requirements and immersed herself in our brand guidelines. She asked lots of questions and spent time with other colleagues to make sure she understood our business and new brand. As a result, she produced engaging content and took some pressure off me. I really liked Jenny’s ability to interpret what I’d said and the brand guidelines. Lots of people say they can do this but actually it’s very difficult to find someone who delivers, and does it quickly. It’s always difficult taking the decision to outsource work, and particularly for a project as important as rebranding. Working with Jenny was easy!” Anna Goodship, Marketing & Communications Manager, The Futures Group - www.the-futures-group.com A bit about me... I write results-focused copy for socially conscious businesses and charities. Put simply, I help you build your brand, grow your bottom line and make a bigger difference. What do I know about copywriting? Before starting Jenny Wing Copywriting in 2017, I spent more than 15 years working in a range of marketing and communications roles where I developed concepts, delivered campaigns and created powerful copy that helped businesses grow. I put my marketing and copywriting skills to the test in several not-for-profits too where I raised over £10m to fund life-changing projects. When the time was right to forge my own path, I chose to create a business that allows me to do what I love, and do best. My copywriting experience spans small not-for-profits to national charities, owner-managed businesses to global companies and membership organisations to local authorities. I’ve written for manufacturers, professional services, FMCG, leisure, tourism, health, education, medical, retail, recruitment, tech and more besides. Your copy is underpinned by my marketing experience so you get more then just well-written words to give you confidence in your communications. What can I help you with? Digital-ready copy: Web copy | SEO copywriting | Email campaigns | Landing pages Designed for the way we search, browse and buy online. Traditional copy: Brochures | Newsletters | Editorial Page-turning headlines and ‘can’t put it down’ copy to tempt customers and win clients. Charity copywriting: Direct mail | Appeal brochures | Impact reports | Supporter care Authentic and emotive copy so you can do more for your cause. My job is to create copy that helps you achieve your goals. And to make your life easier. Because I’ve been on your side of the fence I understand how to do them both. • Beginning a career in copywriting to support small local businesses with their content strategies. Currently studying my Advanced Certificate in Digital Copywriting with the IDM.

  • Whether I'm writing for a business, government, a charity or an individual... I write so that people will read. And if it's in scope to entertain at the same time, I will. I've been freelance since 2007, having worked as a writer and then Head of Copy in some of the big London communications agencies: Pauffley, Aquarium Writers, Corporate Edge, TMP Worldwide, PA Consulting. If you call yourself a copywriter, you're obliged to have some experience of the outside world, I reckon. So here's some back story. After graduating in Eng Lit & Language, and qualifying as a teacher in Manchester, I taught English in Greece and Poland. Came back, moved to London and worked in shops and offices. My big break was joining the British Council (BC), where I spent a few years arranging book exhibitions, squiring Russian publishers around London and gracing the BC stand at European Book Fairs - all in the cause of promoting UK publishing. In 1989 I discovered that you could write creatively AND earn a living wage, and it was called copywriting. Have enjoyed writing for clients and their audiences ever since.
