When you’ve got something big to say, you need the right words to say it. But how do you find the right words when you’re stuck for time, ideas, or expertise? You give me a call. Hello! I’m Francesca, and I write copy for problem-solvers, world-changers, and do-gooders. 70% of consumers choose where to spend their money based on principles — they’re looking for ethical, sustainable, equitable businesses like yours. And what separates you — the genuine good guys — from all the businesses claiming to be the good guy? Copy that commands attention, cuts through the empty words, and gets you noticed. Book me to write it for you and I'll help you: Connect with socially-conscious customers Communicate your purpose Rise above the noise Whether you need something creative or corporate, sassy or serious, long form or short form, I’ll get your message across with clarity, accuracy and style — so you can impress your boss, make an impact, and smash your marketing KPIs. I can help you with: Website copy Email marketing and newsletters Blog and article writing Social media management Press releases Brochures and eBooks Print advertising Who do I work with? My back-catalogue is as varied as Bjork’s — though not as weird. Health. HR. Sewing machines. Travel. Tarot cards. Debit cards. Cakes. Quite literally, everything but kitchen sinks. But I do my best work when my clients’ purpose and values intersect with my own. When you do more than just sell stuff — you actively take on the big social, cultural and environmental challenges we face. If that sounds like you, let's work together. Sorry oil and gas, fast fashion and gambling — I’m not for you. So if you’re looking to make a social impact with copy that’s: Clear but not condescending Purposeful but not preachy Strong but not sanctimonious Pop an email to hello@francescalawson.com and let's chat. I can’t wait to meet you.

I help B2B companies figure out what to say, to whom, and in what order - so they can build a strong content brand, gain trust, and generate leads. *B2B technology* is my strong suit. ● Strategic positioning - I build a unique proposition for your company based on a thorough investigation of your product, your market, your competition, and your audience ● Marketing and messaging strategy - I define your key messages and a hierarchy for them ● Content planning - I build editorial calendars and content campaign plans: messaging, pieces, formats, nurture flows ● Copywriting - I’ve got over 10 years experience writing relevant, creative copy that gets read: ebooks, blog posts, infographics, animation scripts, slideshares, promo copy, ads, the works. ● Tone of voice - I can help you find your brand’s tone of voice and train your people to become better writers ● I work in two languages: English and German (ja, echt.) What I don’t do: ● I’m not a designer. I can’t draw, sketch, or design a website - but I have worked with print and digital designers throughout my career. I’m happy to bounce around ideas with yours. ● I’m not a growth marketer or marketing automation specialist, but have worked with some of the best. I’m eager to align with the person who runs your systems so we can get our goals straight and measure the wazoo out of our marketing. What I believe in: ● Defining your goals: A lot of marketing fails because the goals of a piece or campaign get muddled somewhere along the way. Let’s define our goals at the outset, then find a way to measure performance. It’s the only way we’ll be able to find out what sticks - and do more of that. ● Respecting your audience: B2B decision-makers are super-smart professionals who’ve been around the block. They smell drivel from a mile away, and they don’t want to feel they’re being sold to. That’s why the best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing - but is made of rock solid expertise and brings genuine value to your audience. ● A confident tone of voice: 98% percent of all B2B content is anaemic. I believe the only way for B2B companies to stand out is by sounding like human beings, daring to address the things that matter, and having some fun, too. ● Leading with why. We’re all sick of business “thought leaders” quoting Simon Sinek left and right, but he’s got a point. If a company can’t connect what it does to why that matters, your audience will inevitably ask: “so what?” ● Investing in design. I’m the biggest believer in the power of new ideas and fresh language. But we all respond to images and colours first. So if we’ve figured out something good to say, let’s make sure we present it to your audience in an accessible and friendly way. Examples of my work: I’ve worked for a few big names in B2B and many more that you won’t have heard of. Most of the campaigns and pieces would need a bit of context to make sense to you. If you like what you’ve read so far, drop me a line, and I’ll send you some examples that are relevant to your industry, and what you’re trying to do.

Has the digital marketing world got you feeling overwhelmed and lost in the maze? Take a big old breath, you can pause those butterflies now. This is where we get your marketing to feel smoother than that glass of Malbec at the end of an eight-day week. I’m Pip Christie, creator of purposeful words and websites for intentional small business owners just like you. I’m also a proud Londoner, a former digital nomad and a mild (*understatement*) coffee fan. But we’ll get to all that later. You’ve worked so hard to translate those ideas into products and services for those dreamy clients of yours. You tweaked and tweaked, and tweaked again. Until finally, you felt ready to send your small business out into the world, feeling more nervous than the day you dropped your four-year-old off for their first day at school. And… then you hit a hurdle. You realised you had to market the darn thing. Cue another 184 hours sat staring at a blank screen, just waiting for some words (any words), to appear on the page. Only to feel that the end result just didn’t do your business justice. The business that you’d worked so hard to build. *Oof* What if you had words to market your work that sounded like you, on a really good day? This is where I enter – notebook tucked under my arm, 90s pop playing on the stereo and a magic wand to free up your entire day… or, you know, we could just grab a coffee and hop on a video call. Either or. Let’s create a meaningful digital home for your business. With a front door that just beckons people inside, and cosy rooms where you can sit down with a virtual cuppa and really get to know your customers. I've worked as a Content Marketing Manager in London's fast-paced tech startup scene, I've led on digital communications at a national charity, and now I'm helping small business owners like you build *real* connections with their dream customers and clients.
