"Bonnie is a gold-mine! Her knowledge is second to none and she's the loveliest human being. She's passionate, articulate, and really goes the extra mile- a brilliant copywriter" Aimee, Creative and Agency Owner, Bath I reckon there are four questions you’re pondering as you’re browsing all these copywriter profiles. You’ll find the answers to all four riiiight here. Pop an email to bonnie@wordsbybonnie.com if there’s another question swirling about your brain which I’ve missed. ONE: Is she any good? This answer to this question is: yes. I am good. It takes 10,000 hours to be an expert in something. I’ve got a big ol’ tick next to ’10,000 hours of writing, reading, and being a massive word nerd’. I haven’t done the exact maths (numbers are not my thing, tbh) but I’ve been devouring books and storytelling since I was little and I’m now just a smidge over 21. The maths is undeniable. Also put a big ol’ tick next to: 2:1 English degree, bylines in national newspapers, writing for household brands, diplomas in copywriting and digital marketing from everywhere, regular CPD, full-time freelance copywriting since 2021, and a whole bunch of 5-star reviews on Google. TWO: Is she available now-ish?Also yes. We could probably have a call in the next 24 hours if you want to book it (see: website link at the bottom of this page). The “how long til the copywriting is done” question very much depends on what kind of writing you need, what it’s for, how much of it, how many rounds of edits, and if you want to pay for a rush fee. We’ll chat about all of that in the discovery call. THREE: How much does she charge?Less than I’m worth but more than you think. Again, the answer to this question depends on what you want. After we chat I’ll put a proposal together for you. There will be three bespoke packages at three different price points based on what we discussed in the discovery call. I can tell you that I charge a day rate of £425 and I work out how much to charge you based on how many days the project’s going to take. I can handle that much maths, at least. FOUR: How does it work?Ok, it’s really simple but there are a bunch of steps. So, lemme walk you through it. The first step is having a 20ish-minute discovery call to discuss the project, the deadline, the budget, and copy specificsI’ll write a bespoke proposal. Once you accept one, I’ll send a contract and an invoice for 50% of the feeYou complete a questionnaire about your business, tone of voice, and goals. We lock down the briefI start writing, researching, and refining your first draft and send it by the pre-agreed deadlineYou get a full week to review the copy and send me written feedbackI’ll make all the edits and revisions and send you draft two. (This is when the final invoice is due, by the way)Your copy is ready to copy, paste, upload, and share wherever you want it to go! Were those your four questions? They were, weren’t they? Yes! I knew it!

Looking for a friendly and flexible copywriter who can help sell your brand, product or service? I'm a certified copywriter with over ten years' experience in B2B publishing. With a background in financial content, I've become a bit of a whizz at taking complex subjects (inheritance tax anyone?) and turning them into engaging and easy-to-read copy that connects with your audience. After ten years in the agency game and two children later, I took the plunge into the freelance copywriting world in 2019 – and that’s when www.sampickfordcopy.co.uk was born. Today I provide copywriting, editing and proofreading services to B2B clients from a variety of industries including SaaS, energy, engineering and, of course, finance! However, I'm equally at home when crafting stellar copy for B2C clients too, particularly those in the retail and interiors sectors. My services include: * blog writing * SEO-friendly website content - landing pages and full site copy * marketing copy * feature articles * case studies and testimonials * newsletters - internal or external * LinkedIn articles * advertorials * white papers * sub-editing and proofreading - whether it's 50 words or 5,000! Looking for a copywriter to help grow your business? Email me at sam@sampickfordcopy.co.uk today to discuss your needs or connect with me on LinkedIn.

  • I used to be a lawyer and technically, I'm a 'non-practising' solicitor. I now write copy and content for people who work in professional services, and it's the sort of content that positions you as the go-to person in your area of work. I specialise in long-form copy. That's engaging, thought-provoking, informative content like articles, blogs, e-books, training materials and websites. With regular, insightful content you can: ✅️ attract the case load and clients that really interest you ✅️ build and retain a steady flow of regular clients, who know who you are and what you do before you've even met ✅️ show a bit of personality so that you end up working with like-minded, generally likeable people So how do I help you do that? I write value-packed, personable content. It's well researched, logical and written in engaging, straightforward language. Articles on smart ideas don't need to bore the socks off your readers! Here are some examples of the content I write for people in professional services: ✍️ regular articles for industry publications ✍️ case law updates on the latest decisions in the courts ✍️ updates on topical and political issues such as the budget, and new policy ✍️ legal guides for your website ✍️ training materials for clients and junior team members ✍️ copy for your website Please get in touch if you'd like to chat about any written communications in the sphere of professional services.

  • I’ve worked in marketing and communications in the UK for over 10 years, both in-house and in a big marketing agency. I’ve clocked up significant hours writing content and creating assets, all whilst honing my strategic skills. I pride myself on my reliability and efficiency, as well as my ability to learn new industries quickly. I’ve turned out copy on automotive, beauty, renewable energy, publishing, pets and more. I’ve put content strategy into play to launch new electric vehicles, to convert business energy gatekeepers, and to sell laser hair removal packages. I’m genuinely enthusiastic about using clever email journeys to nurture customer relationships - I’m just that cool.
