Hello there, I'm a copywriter based in Croatia. I have a translator's background, majoring in English and German. My mother tongue is Hungarian. As a translator, I have come across many types of texts, and analyzing them and translating them into English or German made me realize that copywriting is another branch that I can be good at, which I am, mainly because: I know how to convey the message the writer of the text wants to convey, but in another language. I know how to adapt and localize the text to fit the target audience. I know how to craft a copy (web pages, brochures...) to persuade clients to buy, incorporating stories, writing in a TOV that befits the particular field of business. Having affinities toward writing poetry is also something that adds extra interest and an element of "oddity"to my copy, should such a copy need to be written. So, I started out as a translator, but am a copywriter, who has a dab hand in writing appealing copy in more than 1 language. IN 2023- I'm now a website copywriter, adding SEO to my forte. On-page SEO. I write copy in English and CRoatian, and translate from German and Hungarian.

Looking for a copywriter? Well, you’re in the right place. But where to start with over 600 copywriters and numerous agencies to choose from here on ProCopywriters? Here’s my advice … 1. Decide on your non-negotiables You may want an expert in your field. You may simply want someone who can write well and turn their hand to any subject. 2. Draw up a longlist Use the Search Directory helpfully provided by ProCopywriters to find those with the required skills and specialisms. You can also specify region: you may wish to meet someone in person; you may want someone to work in-house. 3. Whittle it down to a shortlist Read as many profiles as you can until you have five or so candidates who meet those non-negotiables. Before selecting which ones to contact, pay particular attention to: portfolios and testimonials, as well as how well written their profiles are. They should be readable and entertaining, without being overwritten or too eager to please everyone. 4. Look at websites (if you haven't done so already) 5. Set your copywriter their first all-important test: how easy are they to contact? How quickly do they get back to you? Are they friendly and approachable on the phone? As you introduce yourself and your brief, are they really listening or are they too quick to sell? Ask for specifics and evidence of expertise. Other titbits... Trust your instincts. Don’t commit too soon. There are plenty more copywriters out there if the first few aren’t the right fit. (Word of warning: you need to book the best copywriters well in advance. Get in early.) All the best with your search. I’m sure it’ll be worth it. Once you’ve found the right copywriter, you can return to whatever you love most about running your business. As a UX copywriter, offering web copywriting services, I write words that resonate with your ideal client in a way that makes sense to them so that hitting that “book now” or “sign up” button is natural. Expect a research-based strategy-focused approach, and a lot of chat about how words and design go hand-in-hand for a high quality user experience. Choose from full done-for-you website copywriting and blog writing services or budget friendly support options for those who wish to DIY. A typical website copy project includes: • In-depth research of your business – copy project kick-off questionnaire, 4 x 15 mins voice of customer interviews, competitor analysis, brand voice development. • UX website strategy – guidance on what pages are needed, what the flow of each page and the entire website should look like, and what key information is needed and where. • SEO keyword research and on-page optimisation – to help people find you on Google. • Research summary – delivered at projection completion to help you in shaping your marketing strategy (you’ll have ready-to-use snippets of copy to use in social media captions). • 6 pages of website copy – e.g. Home, About, 1-3 Services pages, Contact, Portfolio (strategy stage will determine the exact needs for your business). • SEO optimised title tags and meta descriptions – to help people click through to you in the search results. • Fully formatted copy wireframe to guide your website designer with design and layout for each page – you’ll get clear information about where headings, lists, buttons etc go. • One page mocked up as a web page (PDF) – to allow you to see the flow of information and visualise how the words can come to life on your website. • Support to help you provide me with effective feedback – you’ll get detailed notes to help you understand the wireframed copy, a support document with examples of ‘copy in design’, and a guided ‘walk through’ call of the copy after the first draft is written. • 2 rounds of amendments – to ensure you are 100% happy. • Support during the website build / design stage – I’ll liaise with your website designer so that they can speak to me if there are queries or if tweaks are needed during the website build and copy input process. I’ll review your site from a UX perspective before it goes live. Check out examples of work: https://wordcraftservices.co.uk/portfolio/

People need you - let’s not waste words. You’ve got fifty-five words to make people stay. You’ll need the exact search terms people use to look for you. That leaves about fifty words to say what you do. Using language that sounds like you and your brand. While tickling their subconscious psychological needs. Oh, and make it entertaining, too. Want some help? I’ve been writing professionally since 2016. I wrote content for personal finance blogs, then progressed into copywriting for a wide variety of clients and agencies. If you poked me with sticks, I’d probably admit a preference for working with ethical businesses and social enterprises. But I love to learn how things work, and I get a real kick from immersing myself in the fine details of different industries and disciplines. The bulk of my work this year has been for universities and HE providers, including University College London and the digital learning platform Coursera. I deliver: • Thumb-stopping website copy and article content • Extensive topic and industry research • Tone-Of-Voice Audio Recording Analysis, to help founders and entrepreneurs develop an authentic written persona Get in touch, and let’s get it written up the way you need. I’m a tea-drinking copywriter from Hertfordshire, and winner (mostly) of the daily battle against some pretty independently-minded hair. I specialise in verbal identity (brand voice and messaging) and conversational copy for brands that want to be noticed – throwing in plenty of creativity and strategic thinking along the way. As well as the unpredictable hair, I also have over fifteen years of professional writing experience across the commercial, public and charity sectors. I’ve worked as a freelance copywriter since 2017, and I utterly love my job. I work direct with B2C and B2B businesses and charities, as well as in partnership with design studios and creative agencies.

Hiya! First of all, thanks for getting this far. It means me looking all 'deer in the headlights' in my profile photo didn't put you off. That's comforting to know. Now that you're here, let's talk copywriting. Why should you choose me over the 800+ other copywriters in the directory? You'd be taking a chance, for sure. But not a huge chance. I’ve been a copywriter since 2011, writing all kinds of words for all kinds of businesses - some big, some small, some you might you have heard of, some you almost certainly haven't. So I've got experience on my side. I've also not been found out yet, which means I must be doing something right. A copywriter who writes for businesses and has yet to be labelled an imposter. How about that for a tag line. It just screams 'take a chance', doesn't it? Doesn't it? Okay, here's how it is... I'm relying on you picking up some kind of vibe from this. The kind of vibe that makes you want to learn more or get in touch. If you're feeling a bit learn-moreish, there’s a link for my website below. There's more about me and the people I’ve worked with there. If you're feeling get-in-touchy, my phone number is below, along with a handy blue contact button that lets you email me. Speak soon. Maybe. Cheers.
