Copywriting = Art + Science | Compelling | Clear | Captivating | Creative | Converts | Generalist + Travel Specialist | Great rates | I’m Tracy, a Dorset-based Geordie. If you want your copy to tick all the right boxes, I’d love to help. I’ve crafted content for big brands, SEO agencies, charities, small start-ups, professional bloggers, and many more. My clients are based in the UK, the US, Europe, Australia, and beyond. So switching between UK and US English is second nature. As is adopting - and honing - the right tone of voice to suit your target audience and brand identity. Variety is the spice of my working life. I’ve written about everything from accountancy, insurance, and money to clothing, food, lifestyle, and parenting. Plus a lot of travel. You name it. Once I'd created a series of multiple, unique, 200-word product descriptions for continence pads, I found I could write about anything... I have six years of professional copywriting experience under my belt, and it all began with my own blog. So I know my way around WordPress and social media. Since then, I’ve written for all sorts of specialist websites, including a ton of travel sites. As well as many other commercial enterprises. In the business, I’m what we call a middleweight copywriter. Experienced enough to mean you’re in safe hands, yet fresh enough to ensure creativity and continuous learning. Here’s what I can do for you - and have already done for many contented clients: Ghostwriting Update old content Draft press releases Publish regular blogs Hone your tone of voice Tell compelling MSN stories Put together engaging emails Give AI writing the human touch Find keywords for SEO purposes Pen product descriptions that pop Upload posts and pages to WordPress Create landing and sales pages that sell Perfect those social media profiles and posts Compose ads, brochures, leaflets, and posters Write awesome long-form, fact-packed, well-researched articles As well as a whole lot more. I’ve even been known to write poetry and a novel in my spare time. My trio of blogs on food, music, and UK travel also see me waxing lyrical about my own interests. If you don’t know what stop words are and why they matter, or how to hide keywords for both flow and SEO, then you don’t need to. All you should know is that I can create compelling, clear, captivating copy that also converts. If you find content writing a real chore, I can save you lots of time and stress. Words come naturally to me, which means two things. I love what I do - and I don’t waste any of the time you're paying for when getting on with the task. Interested? Find out more about my rates, what I do, and my portfolio by visiting my website. Click the link below to visit contentedcopy.com. No hidden charges - you’ll find my current - and very competitive - hourly rate right there on the homepage. Thanks for reading. Next, why not find out about how I could write for you? Tracy

On mental health in particular, she’s explored innovative and challenging areas such as dialectical behavioural therapy, intrusive thoughts and the links between diabetes and eating disorders. Her work is of a consistently high standard, which is appreciated both by myself and our readers. I hope we’ll continue working together for some time to come.” Senior production editor Craig Scott says: “I've worked with Ellie for a number of years and have always been impressed with her ability to bring complex subjects to life in her writing – and to spot interesting and original angles on a range of topics. She's also a pleasure to work with.” Day rates start at £350. https://elliebroughton.net | elliebroughton@gmail.com

I've been a freelance copywriter for over a decade. Before that an Account Director in the biggest ad agency in the world, so I've got the strategic brain, organisational skills and 'big picture' perspective to back up the writing skill. I have written for most sectors. From marine and FMCG to sensor tech, manufacturing, healthcare and farming. Clients include: Cawston Press, University of Oxford (Department for Computer Science), the Bournemouth International Centre, Yacht Havens Group & Lil-lets Tampax. Because I've spent my career bouncing between sectors, I've had to be agile when shrugging on different brand voices. Yes, I'm brazen enough to say I can write for anyone, but the writing projects I love are those that tackle issues we need better words to communicate. So behaviour change happens faster. To make life better for people, communities and planet; ie: healthcare, education, biodiversity, justice/equiality/diversity/inclusion, sustainability, climate change, plastic pollution, innovation and technology. Out of office hours, I'm either walking the hound along the sea wall, in the New Forest or sea swimming at our local beach. I've just discovered electric biking which is opening up a whole new world of cake & coffee shops and I'm keen to write a radio play! (There, I've said it!)

I'm a highly creative copywriter with 10+ years experience. I specialise in brand, product, messaging, UX, content strategy. But really what I specialise in is great ideas that bring your brand or product to life for your customers. I want to work on: - High-impact, needle-shifting brand work (see my projects with Rebel Energy) - Truly creative campaigns (as my work history shows, I love a chance to get really creative) - Content design/UX projects (web or app) - Anything out of left field I'm collaborative, love working with others, and the more ambitious the project the better. I've worked across multiple sectors and always keen to learn more. Tech, automotive, fashion, energy, luxury, and more.

In my two decades or so of finding the right words for brands, I’ve fallen into bed with luxury hotels, let ideas percolate for indie coffee shops, made myself at home with ultra-luxe estate agents, set sail with the world’s biggest cruise lines and made waves for marine charities. There are loads more, but it isn't about me, it's about you. To cut a long story short, if your brand has lost its voice, I’ll help you find the right words. Who am I? Northerner marooned on the Devon coast. Spaniel tamer. Veggie breakfast aficionado. Tea drinker. Adventurer. Creative founder. Who have I helped? Startups, advertising and design agencies, multi-national companies, independent businesses. How have I helped? Web copy, editorial, campaign creative, brand tone of voice, brand strategy, content strategy, social media content, brochure and direct mail copy, product copy, SEO content...
